A tough-tackling midfielder with a penchant for a pass, Manuel Ugarte signed for Manchester United from Paris Saint-Germain on deadline day in August 2024.

Ugarte made 45 appearances for the Reds in his debut season, often partnering Casemiro or Bruno Fernandes in the middle of the park.

He became our final-ever goalscorer at Goodison Park in February, as United came from two down to draw 2-2 with Everton.

His second strike for the club came in the incredible comeback victory over Lyon in the Europa League quarter-finals.
